High Performance TCP/IP

TCP/IP Maestro provides and extensive range of client/server applications and utilities for Windows for Workgroups, Windows and DOS users. An easy-to-use TCP/IP solution provides the flexibility to install as either a TSR or a VxD implementation. Users with a need for DOS support may choose to install the TSR TCP/IP which provides full network access to both DOS and Windows applications, while using less than 60K of DOS memory which may be loaded into high memory above 640K, effectively using no base memory. Users with memory limitations who require only native Windows support may choose to install the Windows-only VxD implementation. In this installation, all network components are loaded as Windows VxD drivers, eliminating all the scheduling and performance problems associated with other DLL-based products. VxD technology provides maximum performance with minimal impact on conventional memory. For mixed environments, TCP/IP Maestro coexists with other network operating systems such as Novell NetWare, Microsoft LAN Manager, 3COM 3+Open, and Banyan Vines. Since the Windows Socket V1.1 interface is supported, any Winsock compliant application can run with TCP/IP Maestro.
